Dr. SE Gifford
Dr. Sheyna Gifford, MD, MPH, MBA, MS, MA, is a distinguished AME certified to conduct Class I, II, and III FAA medical examinations. With a background in orthopedic surgery, trauma care, spinal cord rehabilitation, and space medicine, she practices at St. Mary’s Hospital in Saint Louis, MO. Dr. Gifford also performs VA disability exams and researches ultrasound-guided procedures, telemedicine, and remote diagnostics, combining her diverse medical expertise with a passion for aviation medicine to ensure thorough and precise evaluations for pilots.
Class II & III AME
Dr. Mina Mehanni
Dr. Mina Mehanni, MD, MSc, is a distinguished cardiovascular medicine specialist. He is an Assistant Professor at Saint Louis University School of Medicine, serving as the Medical Director of the Echo Lab at SSM Health - Saint Louis University Hospital . Dr Mehanni is specialized in advanced cardiac imaging modalities including Cardiac CT and MRI. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in both Cardiovascular Diseases and General Internal Medicine. Being also a commercial pilot and certified flight instructor (CFI), he offers unique insights into the medical needs of aviators. He offers Class II and Class III FAA pilot medical examinations.
